Doctor of Physical Therapy
Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist

I received my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from University of Maryland in 2007 and my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2011.  I have worked in various outpatient settings in the Baltimore and Montgomery County areas and am passionate about helping patients feel like their very best selves.  As a mom of two, I understand how hard it can be to make self-care a priority. These days, we keep ourselves so busy that it can be hard to make time for our health.  My mission is to make it easier by coming to YOU! I strive to make every minute we spend together meaningful to your PT journey by providing highly skilled, one-on-one physical therapy in the comfort of your own home.

Doctor of Physical Therapy
Certified Dry Needling Therapist

I graduated from Arcadia University in 2011 with my BA in Psychology and in 2014 with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy, where I also played Division III softball throughout my undergraduate years. I began my physical therapy career in outpatient and early intervention in central Pennsylvania immediately after graduating. My husband and I moved to Montgomery County in 2016, where I continued to work in outpatient and received my certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling. I decided to begin working in this setting where we come to YOU after having my son in 2019. Life for busy parents can be stressful! Easing that burden by providing personalized care in your home, where I can spend the entire hour focused on you (and not other patients) allows me to provide care in the way I always wanted to. My approach to treatment focuses on the whole person and finding the cause of your symptoms, providing you a long term solution rather than a short term fix.

Kelly is a certified Pilates Instructor with twelve years of experience as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Her experience spans the entire continuum of care, treating patients with diagnoses of orthopedic injury, spinal cord and brain injury, stroke, and amputation. Physical activity has always been a priority in her personal life. She is a lifelong equestrian and trains in Latin and Brazilian Dance. Kelly’s interest in physical therapy and athletic training started in high school while volunteering at a therapeutic riding center and a sports medicine facility clinic. While studying for her B.S. in Kinesiology at University of Maryland, she taught group exercise classes and horseback riding lessons. After graduation, she became interested in the challenging and rewarding process of rehabilitation. She continued her education and
received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.

She became certified in Pilates while working as a Physical Therapist in a hospital rehabilitation clinic. She was amazed by how Pilates exercises on the mat and apparatus were utilized in the clinic to evaluate and treat the entire body at once (not just the injured part), leading to profound and successful outcomes. She enjoys utilizing therapeutic Pilates in her treatment sessions as it can be modified and applied to any situation and ailment. Her personal practice of Pilates has helped her to become a better rider and dancer. She uses Pilates as a way to keep her safe and strong in order to continue dancing and riding for the rest of her life.
